Seneca East Local Schools

Here are the winners for the Scipio-Republic Volunteer Fire Department 2011 poster contest. 

The winning students for Scipio-Republic were:

Kindergarten - 3rd Grade
1st Place - Lexi Cheek (3rd Grade - Mrs. Lamoreaux)
2nd Place - Lacie Costello (3rd Grade - Mrs. Reiter)
3rd Place - Amelia Boes (2nd Grade - Mrs. Caudill)

4th - 6th Grades
1st Place - Stephanie Moore (6th Grade - Mrs. Walker)
2nd Place - Ethan Shade (4th Grade - Mrs. Stillberger)
3rd Place - Emily Smith (6th Grade - Mrs. Reichert)

Fire Chief Gary Baldosser and Fire Man/School visitor for Fire Safety Programs, Eric Boeser came to Seneca East Monday, November 21 to reveal the winners and present their awards. The winners received a ride in the fire truck with sirens,flashers and horns blaring.  The winners also received t-shirts with the Republic logo as honorary fire men, as well as a certificate.
